Styling

The first thing for me to do now that I have a theme I really like and think will work well is to style it to my specifications. I decided to keep much of the grey and dark grey accents and only change the accent colours to match the ones from the Bestival logo. To do this I just opened the logo .PNG in Photoshop and eye dropped the colours to get a hex value to put into the theme options.

Now that my styling was correctly matched I also wanted to change the default font to reflect the fun and stylised imagery on the original Bestival site. To do this I used a free plug-in called Font by Pawel Misiurski.

Although the design and interface are horrible, its a fairly well maintained plugin and does exactly what I want it to without any real drama. The font I chose to use is called 'Basic Title Font', which I think gives the right aesthetic impression for the site.
