Now that the footage was edited in Premiere Pro I then imported the project into After Effects to begin the process of keying out the green parts. The first step was to apply a colour balance effect to each clip and reduce the amount of green in the highlights in the backdrop to ensure a cleaner keying. I then used Keylight 1.2 as before to remove the green parts we needed to, with a slight adjustment on the black and white clipping levels to clean things up.
Stock clips of surreal visualisations, space time-lapses, static glitches and macro shots of colour changing glitter balls were then placed in the layer below to finish off our desired effect.
